Prayer in W.P.No.27896 of 2015 : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the 2nd respondent in L.R.No.AE/JE.O&M/TVK/F. Name Transfer / D.No.111/2015-2016 dated 19.06.2015 whereby the electricity service connection no.030:015:235 (Tariff LA1A) for the premises at New Door No.37, Old Door No.15, 2nd street, K.C.Garden, Peravallur, Chennai - 600 082 is transferred from the name of the petitioner to the name of the 3rd respondent and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondents 1 & 2 to restore the said electricity service connection in the name of the petitioner. C O M M O N O R D E R Since the issue involved in both the petitions are one and the same, they are taken up together and a common order is being passed.

It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that though the Writ Petitions have been filed challenging the transfer of electricity connection in the name of the 3rd respondent, after filing of the present Writ Petitions, electricity connections have been restored in the name of the petitioner, thereby submits that nothing survives for adjudication in the Writ Petitions.

3. Recording the above said submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present Writ Petitions are hereby dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
