This original petition has been filed taking advantage of Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 seeking Succession Certificate with respect to the securities as described in the schedule to the petition, which stood in the name of P.V.Viswanath, who died on 31.03.2017 The 1st petitioner is his wife and the 2nd and 3rd petitioners are his minor son and minor daughter. His parents had predeceased him. 2.After completing necessary formalities, the petitioners were invited to tender evidence. The 1st petitioner, Deepa Viswanath had examined herself as PW-1. The Death Certificate of her husband, P.V.Viswanath was examined as Ex.P1. The Death Certificate of his father V.V.Venkatakrishnan was marked as Ex.P3. The Legal Heirship Certificate was marked as Ex.P5. The details regarding Provident Fund Account at Fraser Town Sub-Post officer, Bangalore was marked as Ex.P2.

smv 3.In view of the evidence adduced, this Original Petition stands allowed. The Succession Certificate may be issued in the name of the 1st petitioner, Deepa Viswanath.
