This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.7 of 2017 on the file of B-4 Sevvapet Police Station, Thiruvallur District and quash the same.

2. Today, the petitioner and the second respondent / defacto complainant along with the learned counsel for the petitioner are present. The identity of the parties has been verified. They stated that the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled among themselves. When this Court enquired the parties, particularly, the second respondent / defacto complainant about the factum of compromise, he admitted the same. He has also expressed no objection in quashing the case in Crime No.7 of 2017 on the file of B-4 Sevvapet Police Station, Thiruvallur District. An affidavit of the second respondent has been filed to that effect.

3. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the case in Crime No.7 of 2017 on the file of B-4 Sevvapet Police Station, Thiruvallur District is quashed. The affidavit of the second respondent signed by him is taken on record.
