ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to cancel patta No.751 for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, and thereafter, issue a fresh patta in the names of the legal heirs of the petitioner's Late grandfather Palani.

2. The petitioner claims that illegally, patta No.751 for the subject property was issued. The petitioner seeks for cancellation of the same and for issuance of a fresh patta in the names of the legal heirs of the petitioner's Late grandfather Palani. The petitioner had given a representation dated 30.01.2026 to the respondents for the aforesaid purpose. Since no final order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the aforesaid representation of the petitioner is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of all the necessary parties which includes the parties in whose favaour patta No.751 stands, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated

30.01.2026 seeking for cancellation of patta No.751 for the subject property and for issuance of a fresh patta in the names of the legal heirs of the petitioner's grandfather Late Palani, after hearing the objections of all the necessary parties which includes the persons in whose names patta No.751 stands, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
