ORDER
This writ petition is filed for direction to the first respondent to issue compassionate appointment order to the petitioner in the third respondent Society.

The petitioner's father had joined as Peon before the third respondent and thereafter he was promoted to the post of Office Assistant. While he was in service, he died on 29.10.2020 leaving behind the petitioner, two other daughters, wife and mother as his legal heirs. The petitioner is qualified with B.Sc Nursing degree. After his demise, the family members of the deceased i.e. K.Sampath filed suit in OS.No.1754 of 2021 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Harur. It was decreed by compromise before the Lok Adalat dated 12.03.2022. As per the terms of the settlement, the respondents ought to have disbursed monetary benefits 2/6
to the legal heirs equally and they promised to give one compassionate appointment to her sister i.e. Abirami. However, she got married and she had given No Objection Certificate for giving employment to the petitioner on compassionate ground. Therefore, the petitioner submitted application before the third respondent seeking appointment on compassionate ground. The third respondent issued procedure order to the petitioner for compassionate appointment and fixing her salary as Rs.10,482/- It was communicated to the first respondent for issuance of appointment order. However, it is pending. Therefore, the petitioner submitted representation on 20.12.2023 and so far, it is not considered. 3.
In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to issue order of appointment to the petitioner on compassionate ground as per the procedure order issued by the third respondent dated 31.11.2022 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. 3/6
There shall be no order as to costs.
