This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct respondents 1 and 5 to prevent any illegal religious function on 20.02.2026; by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2026 that restraining respondents 7 and 8 from conducting Kumbabishekam at Arulmigu Madurai Veeran Temple without collective consent."

2. The festival was to be conducted on 20.02.2026. Therefore, the prayer became infructuous.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
