The writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondent/TANGEDCO to provide agricultural electricity service connecion to the petitioner's common well situated in Survey Nos. J/1/46, J/1/47 and J/1/48 in R.K.Puram, Udhagamandalam East Village, Udhagamandalam Taluk, The Nilgiris.

2. When this matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.N.Damodaran, learned Standing counsel appearing for the TANGEDCO submits that the application of the petitioner is in process and within a period of one week the agricultural electricity service connection for the petitioner's common well would be effected.

3. Recording the said submissions of the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
