This petition has been filed by the petitioner/de-facto complainant seeking to cancel the anticipatory bail already granted to the 1 st respondent herein in Crl.M.P.No. 6364 of 2024, dated 14.11.2024 in Crime No. 269 of 2024 passed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner/de-facto complainant submitted that after availing anticipatory bail, the first respondent had threatened the de-facto complainant once again and in this regard, the defacto complainant lodged a complaint before the 2 nd respondent police.

Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition seeking to cancel the anticipatory bail granted to the 1 st respondent herein.

3.According to the petitioner/de-facto complainant, he has lodged a 2/5

complaint before the 2 nd respondent police with regard to subsequent occurrence. However, no documents or any evidence produced before this Court except the copy of the complaint. Unless there is some material to substantiate the allegation, this Court has no valid reason to order cancellation. Merely based on uncorroborated allegations, cancelling bail is impermissible. Therefore, there is no grounds to cancel the anticipatory bail already granted to the 1 st respondent in Crl.M.P.No. 6364 of 2024, dated 14.11.2024 in Crime No. 269 of 2024 by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore. Hence, this Court is not inclined to allow the above Criminal Original Petition and the same is liable to be dismissed.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 09.10.2025 MSM To 3/5
