Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.10.2017 and thereby direct the respondents to issue no objection certificate to cut down the Eucalyptus trees (Thailamaram) and remove the same from his patta land situated at Survey No.4/1, Govindacherry Village, Walaja Taluk, Vellore District totally to an extent of 1.02.0 Hectare pursuant to the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.6052/14/Ku dated 27.01.2015.

Mr.M.Santhanaraman, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard both sides.

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 25.10.2017, wherein and whereby he sought for issuance of "No Objection Certificate" to cut down the Eucalyptus trees (Thalaimaram) standing in his Patta land situated at Survey No.4/1, Govindacherry Village, Walaja Taluk, Vellore District, totally to an extent of 1.02.0 Hectare and remove the same.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the said request of the petitioner will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

5. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.10.2017, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
