Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner is seeking for a mandamus directing the 1st respondent to furnish the enquiry report in respect of the proceedings pending in Na.Ka.No.330/2004.E. It is seen that surcharge proceedings were initiated against the petitioner, in which, the said enquiry report was filed before the 2nd respondent, who in turn, issued a notice to the petitioner to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

appear for an enquiry. Now, the petitioner seeks for furnishing the enquiry report filed before the 1st respondent in order to effectively defend in the enquiry.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader fairly submitted that such report will be furnished to the petitioner immediately.

4. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of as follows: (a) The first respondent is directed to furnish a copy of the enquiry report to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. (b) On receipt of such enquiry report, the petitioner shall file his objections before the first respondent within a period of two weeks thereafter.

(c) On receipt of such objections, the first respondent will conduct the enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such objections.

No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
