ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for further investigation in a case, which is pending in S.C.No.5 of 2018, on the file of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Thiruvallur.

It is brought to the notice of this Court that the charges have already been framed in this case and the case is now at the stage of trial and at that stage, the present petition has been filed seeking for further investigation. 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Mohammed Riyaz, learned Additional Public prosecutor for respondents.

In the considered view of this Court, this Court does not find any ground to order for any further investigation in this case. The Sessions case is of the year 2018 and a prayer for further investigation is sought for in the year 2021. It is not known as to why it took so much time for the petitioner to seek for the relief of further investigation. The trial has to go on and in the course of trial, if there are any materials that comes to the attention of the Court, the Court below can always take the same into consideration and pass appropriate orders.

In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for in this petition and accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed. The Court below is directed to complete the proceedings, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
