Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of declaration to declare that the second respondent, their men, agents, officers, representatives, assigns and/or anyone acting through or under them are not legally entitled to initiate any action alleging theft of electricity or unauthorized use of electricity by the petitioner's members for use of HT electricity for their canteen (kitchen & dining hall), creche, rest sheds, first aid & ambulance room, gardening, etc., in their units, without obtaining appropriate orders from the first respondent relating to authorized and unauthorized use of power supplied for HT Tariff.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that as the prayer made in the writ https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petition has already been considered by the second respondent/Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission (TNERC), he does not want to prosecute the matter and therefore, he sought for permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. Recording the above said submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No Costs.
