ORDER
Petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition seeking to quash the impugned proceedings, dated 12.01.2021 passed by the 3rd Respondent in Se.Mu.Aa.No.2322/Ma.Va.Me-2/20184, and for a consequential direction to Respondents 1, 3 and 4 to place him "status quo ante" and to consider him for further promotion along with other similarly placed persons. 2.
When the matter was taken up for hearing, it was represented by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents 1 to 4 that, the Petitioner's service will not be disturbed till a decision is taken on the request of the Petitioner and only thereafter, intimation will be given with regard to the Petitioner's service and also his promotion. 3.
Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material documents available on record.

Recording the submissions of the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents 1 to 4, this Court is of the view that, it is open to the Respondents 1 to 4 to take a decision on the Petitioner's request and not give effect to the impugned order dated 12.01.2021 for a period of four weeks, from the date of the decision that may be taken. The decision taken shall be communicated to the Petitioner and if he is aggrieved, it is open to him to challenge the same in accordance with law.
The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction and observation.
No costs.
Consequently, connected W.M.P.No.7471 of 2021 is closed.
