Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondent or his men from proceeding further with the work pursuant to the acquisition proceedings said to have been taken in the lands situate at Siruvanur Village, and not in Vedanginallur Village comprised in S.No.76/2B2 and 77/5A and 77/5B and the revenue records show only 76/2B, 77/5A and 77/5B.

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking issuance of writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondent or his men from proceeding further with the work pursuant to the acquisition proceedings said to have been taken in the lands situate at Siruvanur Village, and not in Vedanginallur Village comprised in S.No.76/2B2 and 77/5A and 77/5B and the revenue records show only 76/2B, 77/5A and 77/5B.
2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the amount of compensation has been paid to the petitioner. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.
3. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
