By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner would submit that his family consisting of himself, wife and son are living in Aththur village and post, Ulunthurpet Taluk, Villupuram District and an application dated 26.03.2013 was submitted seeking family/ ration card and since no response is forthcoming, representation in the form of legal notice dated 13.08.2014 was sent to the respondents praying for issuance of family/ ration card and since he has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner drawn the attention of this Court to the reply dated 03.09.2014 sent by the fourth respondent to his Lawyer and would submit that as per the said letter, recommendation is made for issuance of family/ ration card and though nearly six months had elapsed, no order has been made and prayed for appropriate direction.

4.Heard the submissions of Mr.Dalit Tiger C.Ponnusamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice for the respondents. 5.This Court without going into the merits of the application submitted by the petitioner, directs the fourth respondent to consider the application dated 26.03.2013 submitted by the petitioner by taking into consideration his letter in Na.Ka.S.2/8804/2014 dated 03.09.2014 and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
