ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner seeks bail for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(b), 4(1)(a) r/w 4(1-A) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act.

2. According to the prosecution, the petitioner was found in possession of 6 liters of I.D.Arrack, resulting in the registration of the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this case has been foisted only for the statistical purpose and the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the petitioner has been in custody since 19.09.2017.

4. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] would submit that the case property has been seized and no previous case is pending against the petitioner.

5. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner has been in custody since 19.09.2017 and taking note of the fact that the case property has been seized and there is no previous case against the petitioner, I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, subject to the following conditions:-.

i) The petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Hosur;

ii) The petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30a.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation.
