Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to direct the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge cum Special Judge for SC/ST Cases, Tiruvannamalai to consider and pass order on the petitioner bail application in connection with the Crime No.5 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police on their surrender.

This petition is filed for a direction to the Principal District and Sessions Judge cum Special Judge for SC/ST Cases, Tiruvannamalai, to consider the petitioner's bail petition on the same day of his surrender in connection with Crime No.5 of 2025, since the offences are pertaining to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

2. When the matter is taken up today for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner in this case has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
