The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 118(1) and 351(2) of BNS, 2023 and Section 4 of the Protection of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 in Crime No.Not Known of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner is the husband of the defacto complainant and it is alleged that after the marriage, the petitioner used to regularly attack her and scold her. It is further alleged that the petitioner continuously harassed her even after she delivered the child. On the date of occurrence, the petitioner threatened the parents of the defacto complainant and attacked the defacto complainant with chair and also caused severe injuries and criminally threatened her. Hence, the case.

3. It is seen that this is the third anticipatory bail petitions filed by the petitioners. Earlier this Court dismissed the petitioner's bail petition on the following reasons:

Considering the facts and averments made in the FIR, I am of the view 2/4

that the petitioner caused severe injuries to the defacto complainant who had just delivered a baby and was also abused her with dire consequences, resulting in the issuance of legal notices between the parties. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.

Now, without any change in circumstances, present petition is filed. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
