Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Section 138 of N.I. Act in S.T.C. No.1375 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Pollachi, the petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as the petitioner has not appeared before the trial court on 25.05.2016, Non Bailable Warrant has been issued against the petitioner and hence he has come forward with the present petition for anticipatory bail.

3. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] that the petitioner shall be directed to appear before the trial court and file a petition under section 70(2) Cr.P.C.

4. Considering the submissions on either side, the petitioner is directed to appear before the trial court and to file necessary application and it shall be considered by the learned Magistrate in accordance with law and this petition is disposed of accordingly. 21.06.2016 vrc
