O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders within a limited time frame on the explanation dated 23.11.2018 of the petitioner to the charge memo dated 29.08.2018 and further, to revoke the order of suspension and to pay subsistence allowance.
2. The petitioner has made an explanation/representation dated 23.11.2018 to the 2nd respondent to revoke the impugned order of suspension. However, till date, no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner made a request before this Court that an appropriate direction may be issued to the 2nd respondent to conclude the said disciplinary proceedings based on the charge memo dated 29.08.2018, within the specified time by this Court.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent have no serious objections to conclude the said disciplinary proceedings.
5. Therefore, this Court is inclined to accept the said submissions made by the parties and directs the 2nd respondent to conclude the said disciplinary proceedings pending against the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, as early as possible, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
