ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 22.08.2024, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for the survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.

2.Heard Ms.U.Ramya, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents.

3.The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property through a registered Sale Deed dated 01.02.2024 registered as Document

3/4 No.243 of 2024. The Patta No.1588 also stands in the name of the petitioner. The petitioner made an earlier application seeking for the survey of the property. Even without conducting the survey, the Survey Report was prepared and the specific stand that has been taken by the petitioner is that the signature that is found in the Survey Report is not the signature of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a fresh application on 22.08.2024, seeking for the survey of the property. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 22.08.2024 and conduct the survey in the presence of the petitioner and demarcate the boundaries in line with the title deed and the patta that has been issued to the petitioner. This process shall be completed, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
