ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 4th respondent to produce the body of the petitioner's son T.Sivakumar, aged 21 years, son of P.Thangavel, before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that the son of the petitioner viz., T.Sivakumar, is missing on 20.06.2016 aged about 18 years. Subsequently, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the 4th respondent police on 21.06.2016. After receipt of the same, the respondent police have registered a case FIR in Crime No.489 of 2016 and the respondent police did not take any action to find out the son of the petitioner till today. Hence, the petitioner seeking for a direction before this court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 4th respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
