Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioners representation dated 09.02.2023 to issue patta in the names of the petitioners in respect of the punjai lands comprised in Punjai Survey No.50/1 of Village No.61, Mangalam-B, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Chengalpet District and in having an extent of 1 acre 08 cents. For Petitioner : Mr.K.Annamma For Respondent : Mr.A.Selvendran Special Government Pleader

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners representation dated 09.02.2023 to issue patta in the names of the petitioners in respect of the punjai lands comprised in Punjai Survey No.50/1 of Village No.61, Mangalam-B, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Chengalpet District and in having an extent of 1 acre 08 cents.

2. The petitioner submitted a representation on 09.02.2023 with a request for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioners, which is pending without consideration.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials 2/4

available on record.

4. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the fifth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.02.2023 and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation for issuance of patta, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
