ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.258 of 2023 dated 06.09.2023, before the competent court at the earliest point of time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the 2nd respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 06.09.2023, no final report is filed till date. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the 2nd respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of two months.

5.In view of the above, the 2nd respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
