ORDER

(delivery by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI, J.) This contempt petition is filed alleging noncompliance of the order dated 12 March 2014 passed in W.P. No.7378 of 2014.

This Court, while disposing of the aforestated writ petition, directed the authorities to complete the process of removal of encroachment already initiated, within a period of four weeks, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the alleged encroacher. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader submits that the encroachment was removed on 24 December 2015. In support of this submission, he has produced a copy of the statement given by the petitioner himself, wherein, the petitioner has categorically stated that the encroachment has been removed.

In view of the foregoing, nothing survives in this contempt petition. Accordingly, this contempt petition stands closed.
