This Contempt Petition is filed alleging that inspite of closing the Criminal original Petition on 10.11.2020, this Court, while recording the Page No.1/3

complaint given by the petitioner, has directed the respondent police to serve copy of the RCS Notice to the defacto complainant. Though the respondent police states that RCS Notice was received by one Arumugam by affixing his signature, since the petitioner refused to receive it and the VAO certificate also obtained, the petitioner herein denying the same, has filed this contempt petition.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that pursuant to the service of the RCS notice, the learned Magistrate caused summon to the petitioner herein for appearance on 29.04.2022. 3.In the light of the above fact, this Court finds no reason to proceed against the respondent police for contempt. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
