Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 420, 406 of IPC and 13(2) read with 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act 1988 on the file of the respondent police in Crime No. 3 of 2008, the petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as the petitioner has not appeared before the trial court, the learned 11th Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, issued Non Bailable Warrant against the petitioner and hence they have come forward with the present petition for anticipatory bail.

3. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] that the petitioner shall be directed appear before the trial court and file a petition section 70(ii) Cr.P.C.

4. Considering the submissions on either side, the petitioner is directed to appear before the trial court and to file necessary application and it shall be considered by the learned Magistrate in accordance with law on the same day and this petition is disposed of accordingly.
