Crl.M.P.No.5184 of 2024 in Crl.A.SR.No.7859 of 2024 M. NIRMAL KUMAR , J This petition is filed to condone the delay of 71 days in preferring the above appeal.

2.Heard the learned Counsel for petitioner.

3.Mr.K.S.Mohan Dass, learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) takes notice for the respondent police and he has got no objection in allowing this petition.

4.Considering the fact that the petitioner has been convicted and it is a statutory appeal, for rendering substantial justice, this Court feels that delay to be condoned.

5.Accordingly, the delay stands condoned and the petition is ordered.
