ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 29.01.2021 and investigate the allegations and initiate penal actions as per law.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had sent a complaint against the Chennai Corporation Officials and one Sathiyanarayanan, on 29.01.2021, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

making serious allegations. But, no action has been taken on the same, so far. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Additional Public prosecutor appearing for the respondent has filed a status report and submitted that on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner, petition No.1604/2021/PUB/CC-HQ was assigned and factual verification was carried out. It was reported that the Officials of Greater Chennai Corporation have followed the revised G.O.No.136 dated 15.11.2017 of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (SGSI) Department and diverted the fund and laid roads. Hence, no further enquiry warrants on the allegation mentioned in the petitioner. However, on 13.07.2021, the petition was sent to the competent authority for proper disposal of the petition.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
