PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation dated 18.1.2014 and 20.02.2024 made by the petitioner for premature release of the petitioner's son namely Shankar Reddy, S/o. Muthuraya Reddy, Life Convict, now confined in the Central Prison, Bengalure, Karnataka under the schemes of G.O(Ms) No.488 and G.O.No.430 for premature release of life convicts, within a reasonable period.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation dated 18.1.2014 and 20.02.2024 made by the petitioner for the premature release of her son namely Shankar Reddy, S/o. Muthuraya Reddy, Life Convict under the scheme of G.O.Ms.No.488, Home (Prison-IV) Department, dated 15.11.2021 and G.O.Ms.No.430.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the

petitioner's son viz., Shankar Reddy, S/o. Muthuraya Reddy, Life Convict has already been prematurely released through G.O(Ms) No.291, Home (Prison-IVA) Department, dated 10.05.2024.
