Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records relating to the order of detention CR.MP.NO.07/2014 dated 26/07/2014 passed by the 2nd respondent and to quash the same and also to direct the respondents to produce the detenu MANOHARAN son of RATHINAM, aged 50 years, who is presently detained in the Central Prison, Thiruchirappali, before this Hon`ble court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition challenging the impugned detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 26/07/2014.

2. It is stated by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the impugned detention order dated 26.7.2014 had been revoked, vide G.O.Rt.No.4695, Home, Prohibition and Excise [XV] Department, dated 24.9.2014. Hence, the Habeas corpus Petition has become infructuous.

3.Under such circumstances, the Habeas corpus petition stands dismissed, as infructuous.
