Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to consider the representations dated 21.01.2019 and 18.02.2019 sought for extra police protection made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a stipulated period as that may be filed by this Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to consider the representations dated 21.01.2019 and 18.02.2019 sought for extra police protection made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a stipulated period as that may be filed by this Court.

2. It is seen that the petitioner's son is the accused in Crime No.586 of 2018 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Ayanavaram Police Station. Further it is also seen that the petitioner's son is having so many criminal cases and as such he is taken to several courts namely, Chennai Sessions Court, Egmore Court, Poonamallee Court and Ambattur Court. While going to the said Courts, he is threatened by other persons. Therefore this petition has been filed seeking for police protection.

3. It is also seen that already the petitioner's son is taken to all the courts by private escorts as such the police protection as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
