O R D E R

(through video conference) The Contempt Petition has been filed for violation of the order dated 14.08.2018 in W.P. No. 20980 of 2018 in which the Second Respondent was required to disburse all terminal benefits of the Petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order subject to any challenge to the order dated 10.01.2018 in A.P. No. 3 of 2012 passed by the Special Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Chennai.

This Court by separate order dated 30.09.2020 in the Writ Petition in W.P. No. 8918 of 2019 filed by the Respondent, has set aside the order dated 10.01.2018 in A.P. No. 3 of 2012 passed by the Special Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Chennai. As such, the question of disbursing the terminal benefits of the Petitioner at this stage does not arises for consideration. In that view of the matter,

this Court does not find any reason to proceed further with the contempt proceedings.
