ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner here is a businessman and claims to be engaged in the wholesale vegetable business. The petitioner seeks to complain of the auction conducted by the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority pertaining to a godown.

2. It is evident that the petitioner has a personal interest in the matter and has sought to make the complaint to espouse the petitioner's own cause.

3. Since the petitioner's interest appears to be inextricably connected with the matter and it is evident that the petitioner desires to obtain the relevant godown, the socalled public interest litigation at the behest of the petitioner is not entertained.

4. W.P.No.6609 of 2021 is dismissed. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.Nos.7173 and 7176 of 2021 are closed.
