ORDER

This Original Petition has been filed for issuance of Letters of Administration in respect of the property and credits held by Jana Chinni Krishna Rani @ Rani Krishnan J.C, who died intestate on 28.09.2011. The petitioners are the niece and nephew of the deceased Jana Chinni Krishna Rani @ Rani Krishnan J.C. The petitioners seek issuance of Letters of Administration in respect of the property and credits situate within the jurisdiction of this Court. 1/5

2. The petitioners submits that the deceased Jana Chinni Krishna Rani @ Rani Krishnan J.C, was married to one J.C.Krishnan, and he died on 11.04.1995, and out of the wedlock they have no issues. The petitioners mother and the deceased Jana Chinni Krishna Rani @ Rani Krishnan J.C were siblings. The deceased and the petitioners mother had inherited 1/3rd share of the scheduled mentioned property from their mother late Yasodamma, and thereafter they became the joint co-owners of the property. Now the petitioners are claiming the 1⁄2 share of their aunt deceased Jana Chinni Krishna Rani @ Rani Krishnan J.C as the Class-II legal heirs.

3. The first petitioner is examined as P.W.1. He has produced the death certificates of the deceased Rani Krishnan J.C, Lakshmi Kantham (mother of the petitioners) and J.C.Krishnan (husband of the deceased Rani Krishnan J.C) as Exs.P4, P5 and P3. A paper publication has been made and any objections have not been received.

In view of the above said facts and evidence, this Original Petition is ordered and Letters of Administration is granted in favour of the petitioners, in respect of the property and credits held by Jana Chinni Krishna Rani @ Rani Krishnan J.C. The petitioners are directed to execute a security bond for a sum of 2/5

Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) in the name of the Assistant Registrar (Original Side) of this Court. The petitioners are further directed to file an inventory of assets and statement of accounts within a period of six months and one year, respectively.
