PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filled under Article 227 of Constitution of India to set aside the order made in I.A.No.1 of 2024 in H.M.O.P.No.1426 of 2021 dated 28.06.2024 on the file of the Subordinate Judge at Alandur.

O R D E R

Challenging the dismissal of her application seeking to reopen the evidence of P.W1 for further cross examination of P.W1, the wife, who is the respondent in H.M.O.P 1426 of 2021, is the petitioner herein.

2.H.M.O.P.No.1426 of 2021 was filed by the respondent/husband seeking divorce on the ground of cruelty. After the evidence was completed, the petitioner herein has come forward with the applications to reopen and recall the evidence of P.W.1.

3. The only reason that has been stated in the affidavit filed in support of the application is that vital questions have been omitted. The application appears to have been filed in a very cursory manner and appears to be made with the intent of protracting the proceedings, particularly when the evidence has been completed and the matter is posted for arguments. Alandur has rightly rejected application and I see no reason to interfere with the said order. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
