This Criminal Original Petition is filed praying to direct the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to give police protection to petitioner and his property based on the complaint dated 15.05.2017.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a representation dated 15.05.2017 to the respondents police seeking police protection to the petitioner and his property. But, as on date the respondents have neither given any police protection nor taken any action against the said personnel. Hence, this criminal https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

original petition is filed for the aforesaid prayer. 3.On the above submission, heard the learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the State.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent police to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.05.2017 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
