C O M M O N O R D E R Even today the learned counsel appearing for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ petitioner in Contempt Petition No: 389 of 2016 is not ready to get along with the proceedings and states that the

bundle was not traced. The very same reason was put forth when the matter was heard earlier on 26.02.2016. Allegation in the contempt is that there is violation of the interim order. However, since the petitioner is not ready to get along with the matter, the Contempt Petition No: 389 of 2016 is closed leaving it open to the petitioner to file a fresh contempt petition if there is any violation in future. Consequently, Contempt Petition No: 2431 of 2015 is also closed. However, if according to the Pondicherry Market Committee, the petitioner in Contempt Petition No: 2431 of 2015, the individual viz. Mrs. V. Gajalakshmi, the petitioner in Contempt Petition No: 389 of 2016 has violated the order of status quo granted by this Court on 02.03.2015, then it is open for it to take action in accordance with law.
