Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and dispose the representation of the petitioner dated 30.08.2017 by directing the respondents to mute the Village Revenue Records in favour of the petitioner for her property purchased through the Sale Deed No.6761/2012 on the file of the SRO, Thiruthani.

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider and dispose her representation dated 30.08.2017, wherein and whereby she sought for mutation of the Village Revenue Records in her favour for the property purchased through the sale deed No.6761/2012 on the file of SRO, Thiruthani.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court, is that the said request has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.08.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
