ORDER

The petitioners have filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider their representation dated 03.04.2017 for issuance of patta.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are in continuous possession of the properties for several decades, therefore, they applied for issuance of patta, which were not yet been processed by the respondents.

3. Mr.Era Premnath, , learned Government Advocate, taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioners' representation dated 03.04.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 03.04.2017 for issuance of patta and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
