This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 25.01.2025 wherein the petitioner has sought for inspection and survey of the subject property for demarcation of boundaries.
2. Heard Mr.Shangar Murali, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.Mr.R.Gokulkrishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.V.J.Priyadarsana, learned Government Advocate [Crl.side] appearing for respondents 3 and 4.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 3 and 4 submitted that the complaint given by the petitioner was enquired and it 2/4
was closed. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the application submitted by the petitioner is already under consideration and that the decision will be conveyed to the petitioner within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. In the light of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner and shall take a decision with respect to the survey of the subject property within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
