Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records connected in HS No.C.No.42/ACP/Ennore/Rowdy/2023, against the petitioner dated 30.12.2023 on the file of M-5, Ennore Police Station and quash the same.

ORDER

The petitioner herein, who has been included in the history sheeter register by order dated 30.12.2023 is before this Court to quash the said proceedings.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that two adverse cases against him have ended in acquittal and inclusion of the petitioner's name in the history sheeter is contrary to the guidelines issued by this Court.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) states that the representation of the petitioner been received and under consideration and also the same will be disposed of in accordance with the Police Standing Order 747 and 748.

4. Recording the same, the respondents police to dispose of the representation of the petitioner within a period of three months from today.
