ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to act upon the complaint given by the petitioner and to take action against the respondents 5 to 11 for violating the order passed by the 3rd respondent through proceedings dated 01.08.2023 wherein the petitioner complains that he and his family members are prohibited from entering into the temple on the ground of inter caste marriage.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that pursuant to the order passed by the 3rd respondent through proceedings dated 01.08.2023, the petitioner and his family members are
permitted to enter into the temple.

In the light of the above stand taken by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, it is made clear that the order passed by the 3rd respondent dated 01.08.2023 shall be followed in letter and spirit and if in case the petitioner and his family members are restrained from entering into the temple, the police shall interfere and ensure that action is taken against the concerned persons and entry of the petitioner and his family members is not restricted.

This writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. Index : Yes/No 12.03.2024 Internet : Yes/No rka
