Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to set aside the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.932 of 2017 on the file of the Learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chengalpattu dated 21.03.2017 and modify the order of cash security for a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- imposed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur in Crl.M.P.No.1299 of 2017 dated 13.03.2017 and permit the petitioner to produce normal sureties. Petitioner seeks setting aside of the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.932 of 2017 on the file of the Learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chengalpattu dated 21.03.2017 and modification of condition imposed by learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur, under orders in Crl.M.P.No.1299 of 2017 dated 13.03.2017, requiring the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.5,00,000/-.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Advocate [Crl.side].

3. Petitioner is arrayed as an accused in Crime No.168 of 2016 on the file of respondent for offences u/s.406, 420 of IPC. Learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur has, while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner, amidst other conditions, required the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.5,00,000/-. Such condition is onerous. Accordingly, the same shall stand deleted. Time to execute sureties is extended by one week from the date https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of receipt of this order. In all other aspects, the order of learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur shall prevail.

4. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
