Respondent(s) PRAYER Directing the Respondent herein to correct the extent mentioned in Patta No. 169, Pertaining to S.No.358/93, Situate in Grama Natham of Kunnathur Village, Paramathi Velur Taluk, Namakkal District from 12.34 cents to 17.62 cents and Patta No.135 pertaining to S.No.358/92, situate in Kunnathur Village, Paramathi Velur Taluk, Namakkal District from 8.14 cents to 12.10 cents and to change the measurements mentioned in the four boundaries of the FMB Sketch pertaining to S.Nos.558/93 and 358/92 pursuant to the survey report of the Zonal Deputy Inspector (Survey) Paramathi Velur, dated 23.10.2020 by Considering the petitioners separate representation dated 17.08.2020 and remainder joint representation dated 07.01.2026, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honble court.

ORDER

WMP. No.6499 of 2026 is ordered subject to the payment of separate court fee.

2.This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to rectify the alleged mistakes in the patta and the FMB sketch for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. The petitioners had given representations on 17.08.2020 and 07.01.2026 to the respondent along with the supporting documents seeking for correction of the alleged error in the patta and the FMB sketch for the property, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition. Since the said representations have not been considered, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.

3.Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the petitioners' representations as stated supra, are considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioners, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' representations.

6.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' representations dated 17.08.2020 and 07.01.2026 seeking for correction of the alleged error in the patta and the FMB sketch for the property, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioners and after hearing all the necessary parties, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
