Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give necessary police protection for the ancestral deity festival of the temple viz., "Arulmigu Sri Karuppusamy Ayyanarappan" situated at Seepuliyur, Pallipatti Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District which is to be held on 30.03.2025 & 04.03.2025 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2025. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to give necessary police protection for the ancestral deity festival of the temple viz., "Arulmigu Sri Karuppusamy Ayyanarappan" situated at Seepuliyur, Pallipatti Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District which is to be held on 30.03.2025 & 04.03.2025 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation made by the petitioner on 13.02.2025, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and respondents 4 to 11 and pass appropriate orders within a period of one week from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
