ORDER
This writ petition has been filed questioning the selection list of 410 EEE-Assistant Engineers by direct Recruitment made by the second
respondent and published on 06.07.2012 and to direct the second respondent to appoint the petitioners as Assistant Engineer (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) under BC General category. Though in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, the petitioners stated that around 326 candidates have been selected under Non-Priority category only from amongst those who underwent the TNEB apprenticeship and the 84 posts reserved for candidates under the priority category, about 59 candidates have been selected under Priority categories and 25 have been accommodated against the Non-Priority quota, there is no material to support such a contention. In the counter affidavit, the process of selection is explained.
2. This Court has gone through the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition and the contents of the counter affidavit. Considering the facts, this Court does not want to interfere with the selection process, which was completed as early as 2012 at this juncture. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
