The 5th respondent in W.P. No.16997 of 2017 has come before this Court seeking Contempt to be issued against the Joint Director of School Education at Chennai.

The Writ Petition was filed by the petitioner K.Suresh seeking interference with proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1964/A4/2017 dated 31.03.2017 passed by the District Educational Officer, Nagapattinam District and direct the petitioner to be posted to the post of Post Graduate (Commerce). This petitioner in the contempt Petition was shown as the 5th respondent in the said Writ Petition. A direction was given that the Joint Director of School Education (Higher Secondary) may re-examine the impugned order and pass necessary orders.

A representation is made on behalf of the respondent that the issue is under process.
