This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to provide adequate protection to the petitioner during the construction of the petitioner's property
situated at Plot No.I & Plot No.V, at Annai Indira Nagar comprised in Survey No.161/1B, at No.42, Mangadu Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, now Pallavaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District total admeasuring an extent of 4890 Sq.ft.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the owner of the property situated at Plot No.I & Plot No.V, at Annai Indira Nagar comprised in Survey No.161/1B, at No.42, Mangadu Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, now Pallavaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District total admeasuring an extent of 4890 Sq.ft. and he had also obtained patta in favour of him. He is in absolute possession and enjoyment of the property. One Balu, Sathya and Devaraj who claims to be adjacent land owners along with 25 rowdy elements had entered into the construction site of the petitioner and created ruckus. 3.Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl. side) would submit that as per the records, the petitioner is the owner of the two plots and there appears to be boundary dispute between the petitioner and Balu, Sathya and Devaraj, who claim to be the adjacent land owners. He would further submit that, due enquiry would be conducted with regard to the dispute and if necessary, adequate police protection would be given to the petitioner.
4.Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
