This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioners on 27.01.2020 and pass orders, within a time limit fixed by this Court. 2.
The case of the petitioners is that they are working as Sanitary Workers in the Coimbatore Municipality Corporation and they have put in sufficient service and inspite of the same, their services have not been regularized. The further case of the petitioners is that similarly placed persons have already approached this Court and filed WP No.2837 of 2018 and this Court had directed the respondents by an order dated 20.12.2018 to consider the representation and pass appropriate orders. The petitioners have also made a similar representation on 27.01.2020 and they want their representation to be considered by the respondents. Since the same has not been considered by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents. 4.
Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioners on 17.01.2020 on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioners are directed to make a fresh representation to the 1st respondent along with a copy of the earlier representation dated 17.01.2020 and also a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.No Costs.
